Hair growth
Hair grows from 0.3 to 0.5 mm daily. The average lifespan of a single hair is 3-6 years, after which it falls out of the hair follicle and is replaced with a new hair. Hair growth occurs in recurring cyclical intervals. There are three phases in the hair growth cycle:
The anagen phase (active growth phase) which lasts from 2 to 6 years - when the hair forms and grows. The formation of a new hair begins and continues until a new growth stem has formed in the lower section of the hair root.
The catagen phase (the transition phase) which lasts from 2 to 3 weeks, during which time the speed at which the hair grows decreases and
The telogen phase (the resting phase), which lasts from 3 to 4 months. During this period the hair follicle is completely at rest – with the cellular stem separating itself entirely from the hardened tissue of the hair bulb. A new hair then develops, with natural hair loss concluding the telogen phase and the hair cycle once again moves to the anagen phase.
What causes hair loss?
Loss of hair is a normal occurrence. Normally 60-80 individual hairs fall out each day. However, when 100 or more hairs fall out a daily basis, then we are talking about increased hair loss. When this occurs the number of hairs in the anagen phase (the active growth phase) reduces while the number of hairs in the telogen phase (the resting phase) increases. Excessive hair loss occurs when there is disturbed assimilation in the cells of the scalp and the bulb-shaped base of the hair root
does not develop, which consequently results in the hair falling out. Besides the various reasons associated with hair loss (such as those connected with hereditary factors, hormones, psychophysical stress, dietary/nutritional deficiencies, the aging process,…, we also know of different forms of hair loss, the evaluation of which is key to the prognosis in determining how long the hair loss will continue, how much of the scalp area will be affected, how much hair will fall out and, most
importantly, whether the hair will grow again.
In so-called scarring forms, hair loss generally accompanies the hardening of the collagen fibres which surround the hair root. Due to the root being constricted it is not as firmly embedded in the scalp. It slowly begins to be lacking in component elements which weakens it. As a result, the hair growing from the root is significantly thinner and shorter. Gradually the hair detaches itself, falls out and the hair sac completely closes so that a new hair is no longer able to grow. However,
in other forms, hair loss can be caused by insufficient blood flow to the scalp which results in the hair not obtaining enough nutritious substances necessary for its growth.
What effective ingredients, which are found in products, are intended for excessive hair loss?
For getting rid of hair problems, individuals always look more for natural ingredients.
Hop extract - This slows down hair loss, stimulates the scalp, strengthens the hair roots, accelerates hair growth and has a soothing effect on the scalp.
Panthenol - In combination with hop extract, it accelerates the supply of blood to the scalp and enables the growth of healthy and cared for hair.
In the laboratories of the company Ilirija, these carefully selected effective ingredients are built in to Subrina Recept and through this they achieve ultimate effectiveness as regards getting rid of the problem of excessive hair loss.
What would you recommend to someone who is suffering from the problem of hair loss?
At the first sign of excessive hair loss we recommend a combination of the Subrina Recept products. Besides the shampoo, we also recommend use of the lotion.
Once a week, before washing the hair, evenly distribute one ampule of Subrina Recept INTENSIVE PLUS excessive anti-hair loss lotion onto dry hair. Rub it into the scalp and leave it for 20-30 minutes to take effect. Then wash the hair using Subrina Recept excessive anti-hair loss shampoo and, after having washed the hair, use Subrina Recept INTENSIVE excessive anti-hair loss lotion, which you evenly distribute onto wet hair, rub it in and do not rinse it out.
After this final process, the hair can then be styled.
As to Subrina Recept excessive anti-hair loss products not helping the problem, it is then necessary to more precisely look into the cause of the hair loss. Stronger and more stubborn instances of hair loss can be a sign of a variety of illnesses, (possibly even dangerous ones) and in such cases an examination with a dermatologist is needed as soon as possible.
Subrina Recept products are formulated on a natural basis. Regular use alleviates hair loss because the products strengthen the hair roots and improve the supply of blood to the scalp which results in the hair becoming stronger and more resilient. Because the hair growth cycle consists of a few phases, it is necessary to use the products for preventing hair loss for an extended period of time, at least for a few weeks, in order for the visible results to take effect.
We also recommend using Subrina Recept anti-hair loss shampoo as a preventative measure even before you are aware of the occurrence of excessive hair loss.
Dandruff, hair loss and greasy hair are the most frequent problems associated with the hair and scalp.
Standard shampoos are not able to permanently solve these problems; problems which can be yet further exacerbated through excessive use of unsuitable products. Therefore, for solving scalp-related conditions, we have developed SUBRINA RECEPT which provides the hair with much more than just normal hair care
A HEALTHY SCALP IS AN ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENT FOR HEALTHY HAIR GROWTH!
In the SUBRINA RECEPT products, natural ingredients are interwoven with active ingredients and in this way they effectively get rid of the problems without damaging the scalp's healthy flora. All the products under the SUBRINA RECEPT brand name are dermatologically tested. The dermatologically tested mark can be carried only by products which have been tested by a qualified body. A dermatological test guarantees that the products do not contain harmful additions and raw materials and, for
this reason, that they do not trigger an allergic reaction.
Products which excessively dry the scalp are not suitable for solving the problem of greasy hair. Greasy hair is a problem which occurs due to the over-active functioning of the sebaceous glands. Our hair quickly becomes greasy on account of the polluted environment to which we expose it. Greasy hair lacks volume, has an oily sheen and gives the impression of having been neglected. In the case of greasy hair it is important that we calm down the overactive sebaceous glands and do not dry
out the scalp. Any attempts to dry out the scalp will in fact achieve precisely the opposite effect – in that we will further activate the sebaceous glands. It is therefore important to use products which contain mild ingredients and which have a soothing effect on our hair and scalp.
